Welcome to the home page of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, in Springfield, Illinois, a Christian witness in the Springfield area since 1833. The church is conveniently located at 700 South 6th Street, downtown Springfield, IL. We have two services, one on Sunday morning and one on Wednesday evening. The worship schedule is as follows: Sunday Church School 9:15 am Sunday Worship Service 10:30 am Wednesday Worship Service 6:00 pm The 10:30 am Sunday Service and the 6:00 pm Wednesday night service are conducted in the beautiful Sanctuary. The services are different in time, type and formality; you will feel the Lord’s presence in all worship services! For Your Worship Comfort · Hearing-assistance devices are available. · Large –print bulletins are available upon request. · Free transportation to and from worship services can be arranged by calling the church office at 217-528-3407. · An elevator is available just inside the South parking lot entrance labeled “office”. · A staffed nursery is provided for the Sunday morning Church School and Worship service.
